Our Practice

Dear Patients

We are pleased to welcome you to our practice of preventive medicine and regenerative medicine in the heart of the Berlin metropolis. Prevention is aimed at preventing the development of the disease. Healthy aging, good aging, slowing down the aging process and even reversing it - this is the goal of our treatment. Against the background of scientific evidence that aging itself is the biggest risk factor for the development of chronic diseases such as neurodegeneration, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer, the focus of clinical research is also increasingly directed to the field of longevity and related metabolic processes. We aim to treat you comprehensively and preventively, i.e. proactively, so that changes in human metabolism, the immune system and hormonal influences associated with aging affect you positively, alleviate complaints and, at best, reverse them. In addition, we would like to provide you with concomitant therapy in the severe phases of the disease and thus help you mitigate the side effects of therapy - all with the aim of strengthening you so that you can overcome the disease more quickly.

Great that you are here!

As clinic manager, I would like to introduce myself to you personally! My name is Professor Fändrich, surgeon, expert in cell biological and immunological diseases and head of this clinic for applied cell therapy at the University Hospital Schleswig Holstein.

In my research and teaching, I am committed to developing new individualized forms of therapy of the future that are tailored to the needs of each individual patient.

My work focuses on three major medical application areas: immunotherapy of autoimmune diseases, the use of autologous cell products to regenerate degenerated tissue and vessels, the modulation of molecular metabolic pathways that can slow down and/or reverse aging processes, and the immunotherapy of malignancies. These areas are of great importance for the medicine of the future as they help us to treat diseases in a way that is less invasive and gentler on the body.

My career began in 1986 as a general surgeon at Worms General Hospital in Germany. In the two decades that followed, I was honored with numerous awards as a transplant surgeon, including the Walter Brendel Prize, the von Langenbeck Prize, the Fritz Linder Prize, the Rudolf Pichlmayr Prize, and the International Childs Foundation Prize , USA, and the appointment as opinion leader for the World Transplant Society (Oxford).

In 2004 I was appointed Director of the Department of Transplantation Medicine and Biotechnology at the University Clinic of Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and in 2005 Deputy Director of the Clinic for General and Thoracic Surgery at the UKSH. During my practice as a transplant surgeon, I turned to regenerative medicine. In 2002 I received the Georg Heberer Prize for my article in the renowned journal Nature Medicine (Childs Foundation) and in 2009 I founded the Department of Applied Cellular Medicine at the Christian Albrechts University CAU | UKSH.

From 1991 to 2008 I worked as a surgeon in the surgical department (general, thoracic and transplant surgery) of the UKSH in Kiel, where I developed my expertise in visceral and oncological surgery, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, bile ducts, liver and rectum/colon surgery used. Since 2009 I have headed the Clinic for Applied Cell Therapy at the University Hospital UKSH, Kiel Campus, which focuses on translational research in the fields of immunology and regeneration. In particular, clinical treatment concepts are offered here that can stop or reverse the aging process.

I am co-author of more than 250 publications in international medical journals and books, especially in the field of regenerative medicine. I hope that I can help you with my experience and knowledge and I look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Med. Fred Fändrich

Illness patterns & our treatments:

Age-Related Ailments

As the body ages, it loses resilience. You get sick more often and for longer. Injuries heal more slowly and bone and muscle pain are more common.

Autoimmune
Disease

In this type of disease, the immune system attacks healthy cells. Such diseases include diabetes, dementia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Cell Fatigue

Heavy metals can settle unnoticed in the body and promote serious infections and cancer.

Sport Injuries

Muscle strains and tissue damage occur frequently, especially in competitive sports. These can irreparably damage performance

Cancer

In addition to the cancer itself, chemotherapy in particular weakens the body. This results in pain, weakness and hypersensitivity.

Long Covid

Listlessness, low stamina and reduced resilience are signs of Long Covid and can affect all aspects of daily life.

There is a method to keeping healthy:

FAQ

Immunotherapy is a form of personalized medicine. This question can only be answered seriously after an informative discussion. It is best to arrange a personal appointment with one of our doctors here.

After a thorough consultation and the provision of the agreed patient documents, there are usually 2 therapy sessions at intervals of 4 weeks, up to 6 months, depending on the type of treatment.

Infusion therapy is private treatment, even if a growing number of health insurance companies cover the costs. Please request an individual offer that suits your state of health and your accommodation requirements.

As part of the treatment, an accompanying monitoring is performed, which both objectively (through laboratory analysis) records the before/after states, and additionally documents the subjective situation using a specific questionnaire

Most specialists are not yet familiar with this form of therapy. As with all new treatments, it takes time to convince a large segment of the medical profession. The advantage of this therapy is that it does not harm the body and has higher success rates than traditional treatments according to numerous clinical reports.

Based on many years of experience in caring for international patients, we offer you and your companion seamless all-round care during your treatment. At your request, we will take care of travel planning (incl. visa), accommodation, chauffeur and interpreter service, as well as the medical documentation according to your requirements

The medical services we offer are based on more than 15 years of international experience in clinical application. The associated specialist literature is correspondingly extensive. We would be happy to provide you with relevant information for your treatment after a personal consultation. For reasons of data protection, we can only provide relevant references in anonymous form.

Our doctors will give you precise instructions and, if needed, also provide ongoing support to enable you to positively change your biological parameters in order to make you more alkaline and free you from toxins and stress, thus creating the conditions for a sustainable improvement in your biological aging. Support yourself and us with a healthy lifestyle.

Age-Related Ailments

Reverse Aging / Healthy Aging

Why people age and develop chronic diseases is most likely due to the accumulation of so-called senescent cells. These are cells that have been damaged by certain causes, such as radiation, chemotherapy, diabetes and obesity. The more senescent cells there are, the faster aging progresses and increases the risk of chronic diseases.

To prevent disease and delay aging naturally, a holistic therapeutic approach offers targeted treatment by balancing pH, normalizing metabolic pathways, and detoxifying heavy metals. This actively regulates the immune system, metabolic pathways and endocrine networks and promotes the formation of new stem cells in aging tissue.

This treatment approach is unique and all formulas and products used are safe, having been used on hundreds of patients over the last 15 years. It offers the first opportunity to protect patients from diseases of old age and to rejuvenate biological age compared to chronological age.

Autoimmune Disease

Immunotherapy

Physical and mental overexertion can lead to acute and chronic illnesses if one does not have enough time to recover one's body, mind and spirit. It is therefore important to recognize stressful situations at an early stage. Our clinic offers molecular-biological protein diagnostics, which detects stages of inflammation, hormonal, immunological, allergic and psychological-emotional exhaustion long before they become visible in the standard laboratory.

This diagnosis enables an individualized therapy that is tailored to the person concerned and combines a holistic integrative treatment approach with conventional medicine. The form of therapy includes intravenously administered infusions, the administration of peptides, bioidentical hormones, autologous cell products and supplementary therapy using oral supplements to restore the physiological metabolic processes and prevent chronic diseases.

Physical measures are available for a quick and immediate increase in performance after physical overexertion. Only through regular "reformatting" of our organism can we ensure long-term health and healthy aging, since our work-related intensification of performance, toxic environmental conditions and unhealthy eating habits as well as deficient sleep rhythms can disturb our balance.

Detoxification

Among the heavy metals most commonly found in wastewater are arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, nickel and zinc, all of which pose risks to human health and the environment.

This has been documented in China over the last five years, where there has been a huge increase in cancer, chronic lung disease, autoimmune diseases and neurodegenerative diseases (including diabetes and dementia).

Studies show that the life expectancy of citizens living in the Beijing area has decreased by almost five years compared to the epidemiological data of 20 years ago. This decrease in life expectancy is primarily due to environmental pollution, which has led to a significant increase in chronic inflammatory diseases, as well as cancer, neurodegeneration, allergies, genetic disorders and autoimmune diseases.

One of the main features is the accumulation of heavy metals in the interstices of tissues, especially in the brain. Once they are deposited in the brain tissue, the body's immune system is no longer able to eliminate these toxins.

Majority of our Asian patients suffer from heavy metal poisoning especially from mercury, cadmium, aluminum, silver and others due to constant exposure to polluted environment with contaminated air and water.

In the detoxification therapy, we use a two-stage process to eliminate the heavy metal toxins in the tissue.

Fast Track Recovery

The acute treatment of injuries and trauma from muscle, vision and ligament injuries requires a series of comprehensive physiological and biochemical processes which, taking the respective injury into account, are tailored to the patient. The focus here is primarily on physical measures (intravasal cryotherapy and laser therapy), peptides, pH balance and the activation of genes (epigenetics), which prompt proteins to "repair" and regenerate the injured structures in the short term.

A special therapeutic tool available to us is the administration of small molecules, which we can isolate from the patient's blood and then give back in a targeted manner. This holistic integrative treatment approach allows the integrity of injured and functionally restricted tissue structures to be restored, which goes beyond conventional measures and thus accelerates the healing process.

Cancer

Oncological Support

Cancer immunotherapies, on the other hand, aim to circumvent the cancer cells' evasive strategies and direct the body's own defenses directly to the cancer cells.

Antiviral (EBV) treatment

The heterogeneity of breast cancer is associated with various causal factors such as heredity, environmental influences, hormonal influences and infectious agents. Among these factors, viruses are regularly implicated in carcinogenesis, in particular Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is clearly implicated in nasopharyngeal cancer. A causal relationship with breast cancer was also demonstrated in the mid-1990s.

We have already demonstrated the presence of EBV in < 30% of breast cancer samples. Notably, EBV-related breast cancer is associated with more aggressive patterns. We have developed a naturally occurring peptide sequence (derived from the Ezrin molecule called Hep-1 or Gepon) that exhibits potent antiviral activities and has been shown to be effective in hepatitis C and HIV patients.

The use of Hep-I, which helps the immune system fight cancer stem cells contaminated with EBV (or other herpesviruses), is a unique approach to treating the root cause of cancer.

The relevant infusions are administered in the form of cures and in acute phases of the disease as well as complementary therapy in oncological treatment, e.g., concomitantly to radiation or chemotherapeutic treatment.

For a sustainable improvement of the immunity and metabolic situation in connection with the fight against cancer cells, you will receive an additional oral medication (capsules) from us, which not only supports the intravenous therapy, but also independently slows down the growth of tumor cells or can initiate their cell death.

A significant improvement in symptoms can be expected after just a few treatments.

Long Covid

Long Covid Therapy

The World Health Organization defines 'long Covid' as the presence of symptoms lasting at least two months in individuals with a history of probable or confirmed Covid 19 infection. This syndrome affects millions of people worldwide and can cause various symptoms such as persistent fatigue, central and peripheral nervous system disorders, cardiovascular and coagulation disorders, and musculoskeletal disorders. In addition, recent publications on investigations with mRNA vaccine doses of vaccinated but not directly affected by Covid-19 suggest that there is an interaction between the COVlD-19 disease and the mRNA-based vaccinations, as autopsy findings of deceased report spike protein deposits that go beyond the vaccination sites on the upper arm are detectable in various organ systems (intestine, heart and brain). These can lead to autoimmune diseases, in which the immune system attacks healthy tissue. So far, there is no specific treatment for "long Covid" because the immune system of each affected tissue undergoes an inflammatory change. However, symptomatic treatment of the various symptoms is possible.

TREATMENT Every affected (virus-contaminated) cell and tissue undergoes an inflammatory change, which means that the immune system trying to fight the virus is activated and releases inflammatory cytokines and molecules. This flare-up of inflammation causes pain and loss of function in the affected organ. It is therefore important to stop this flare-up of inflammation.

Our treatment focuses on the main pathophysiological mechanisms associated with Covid 19 disease and associated symptoms and includes intravenous infusions, anti-inflammatory peptides (which can contain the highly inflamed microenvironment of affected tissues and organs) and immunoregulatory therapeutic approaches, which balance overactivated immune cells. At the same time, we are pursuing therapeutic approaches that aim to render harmless the spike proteins expressed on healthy cells.

Another part of the treatment concept involves the use of physical techniques, including low-power intravenous lasers and alpha-cooling hypothermia treatment, both strategies designed to synergize with body regulation, pain control, and the body's functional recovery.

Most of the patients we treat experience rapid (within days) improvement and are able to achieve major convalescence after 2-3 weeks of treatment. Many regain their normal physiological activity levels and can be reintegrated into normal working lives.
